Slewfoot This is a great writeup. Thank you, Charlie! I began seeing Phish in 1994 and caught the night before this amazing evening, but unfortunately could not get a ticket for what would become the stuff of legend. For as long as I could remember 12-31-95 was considered the pinnacle show. It was essentially fact and not merely opinion. Time has shown Big Cypress and some others to be rated higher, but for this fan, this night will always hold meaning as the quintessential Phish show of its time. First NYE at Madison Square Garden? Check. Three sets of music? Check. Some of the most ferocious jams the band has ever played? Check. A show with so many highlights not one song stands above the others? Check...I look forward to "seeing" it with you all tomorrow night!!!
